In 1931, Ioannis Papaioannou, the grandfather of the family, learns the art of tailoring, in the tailor shops of Skoufa Street in Athens. He returns back in Grevena in 1936, and he opens up the first tailor shop in town, sewing suits for his customers, choosing the best quality fabrics from the most renowned countries. At the same time, he trades fabrics and teaches his children the art of tailoring.
The story is continued by the second generation of the family. In 1978 a clothing firm is established in Grevena, producing men’s and women’s clothing. The products are available through a small privately owned network of apparel stores in Greece, retaining the philosophy of producing modern clothes in high quality using the best materials, top fabrics and modern designs.
Today, the third generation continues this tradition by sewing women’s clothing in limited quantities, following the fashion trends and meeting the desires of every modern woman for a unique, comfortable and elegant appearance, constantly renewing their designs.
